Naked girls and topless boys close Robertson

Davidhasse_sarde_11102525_600Double Grammy winner Eve turned up at the MAC Cosmetics Chinese Dress bash that closed down Robertson Boulevard to car traffic for the first (and hopefully the last) time in WeHo's celebrity-strewn shopping street's history.

The singer/actress was the most famous face among the throngs of MAC devotees who came to the boutique to see a live gallery of a dozen naked models air brushed with MAC pigments to look like they had on sequined dresses. During the um, viewing, bare-chested boys -- their pecs stamped with a Chinese design/character-- passed out Asian nibbles and fruity cocktails.

Atmosphere_sarde_11102507_600
The astonishing exhibit debuted in Shanghai in 2005 and New York this spring. Next stop? San Francisco in 2007. All the airbrushed designs created by Juicy Couture, Sue Wong and Vivian Tam were variations on the Qi Pao, a classic Chinese garment.

The naked models seemed to get David Hasselhoff all hot 'n' bothered. He carefully scrutinized the girls to see if they were really wearing thongs and pasties. Memo to David: Don't wear that long frock coat again. It makes you look even creepier than those accidentally released divorce accusations/documents do.

Who showed at the LA shows?

Mischabart_amy_g_10967357_600Why was Mischa Barton at the the Bebe Spring 2007 runway show at  Smashbox? And why was she smiling?

Because she's currently the face of the U.S. fashion label, that's why. So basically, she's gotta be there, wearing a Bebe B/W silk dress.

In fact, if Keds has a runway show, she'll be there too.  She also appears in their ads.

But other than  Miss Mischa, there were very few (okay, none) of the young  actresses featured in fashion magazines as cutting-edge trend-setters at the Mercedes-Benz Spring '07 Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios. No Nicole Richie. No Mary-Kate and Ashley. No Kate Bosworth. No Scarlett Johansson. No Kirsten Dunst. No Charlize Theron, who attended last year.

And there was certainly no one shopping for an Awards Season '07 wardrobe.

Rock and Republic's show at Area, unlike last year's event which featured Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders and a real runway show (not just video of their NY event) and stars like Posh Spice and Katie Holmes, didn't even attract the promised guests like Paris and Nicky Hilton.

But it did draw Nick Cannon, Frankie Muniz, Kelly Hu, Jeremy Piven, Eric Benet, Brittany Snow, Dominique Swain, Jonathan Silverman, Elisha Cuthbert, and Paris’s party pal Kim Kardashian.

Paris, Nicky, Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy did turn up at Social Hollywood for the William Rast show and party. Justin, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and will.i.am from the Black-Eyed Peas even performed for the packed house. It was so hot, fire marshalls even closed it down. Woo-hoo! Good times.

The Dressed to Kilt show on Saturday boasted Patricia Arquette, Thomas Jane, Linda Hamilton, Natasha Henstridge, and Kimberley Stewart. Sofia Milos was one of Sue Wong’s front row faces on Sunday night. Louis Verdad's overcrowded show also drew Alexis Bledel, Randy Jackson, and Garcelle Beauvais. Diana Ross turned up at Meghan’s collection and Angela Bassett was watching Dina Bar-El’s show.  And Daniella Clarke’s Frankie B runway show was watched by… Taryn Manning.

Kevin Hall's Thursday night show was attended by Joely Fisher, Milos and the Oscar-nominated "Sideways" babe, Virginia Madsen and Sinbad.

Sinbad?

Leo gets Stoned, Kirsten and Orlando get Frenched

Kirstendun_charb_10592742_600_1Mickjagger_j_mc_10592555_600_3Maybe you can’t judge a book by its cover.

But you can judge a film by its premiere party star power.

Tuesday’s night party in New York for Martin Scorcese’s  “The Departed” drew a Hollywood icon (Lauren Bacall), a music legend (Billy Joel) and  two Rolling Stones (Mick and Ronnie).  Listen for some classic Stones tunes in Scorcese's return to his "Mean Streets" beginnings. Along with the cast, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson, this party was a pretty big bill to top.

But writer/director Sofia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette” party – sponsored by Chanel - at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood came in a close second.

The reigning queens of the night were definitely Sofia - in a Chanel Spring '07 pleated chiffon dress - and her movie muse, Kirsten Dunst, in a Christian LaCroix halter gown.

Marie_antoinette_044_1Penelope Cruz
came glued to her “Volver” director Pedro Almodovar. Geoffrey Rush caught up with Angelica Huston, who later chilled on the patio with her husband and Jason Schwartzman. Will Ferrell was there and so was Courtney Love, who is starting to do a Thanksgiving Day Parade float imitation again (shock!).

I think I saw Samantha Mathis (where the heck has she been anyway?) in the crowd. Mike White and Robin Tunney seemed to be in good spirits.

One of the first to arrive was Maria Bello, followed by LA’s ultimate cool trio Donovan Leitch, Kristy Hume and Ione Sky and famed fashion photog Ellen Von Unwerth.

Also in the party: Mischa Barton, Drew Barrymore, Milla Jovovich, The Strokes, and Bow Wow Wow.

Dunst kept close to her patio table for most of the night, closely guarded by her PPP (Protective Personal Publicist) Steven Huvane.

No sign of a hot date for the "Marie" star. But guess who arrived late and snunk in under the radar? Her rumored on-again/off-again beau, Orlando Bloom.

Perhaps now that Bloom’s ex-girlfriend Kate Bosworth has dieted down to bare bones, his eyes are back on the slightly meatier Dunst, who at least has a BMI that might permit her to model in Madrid. Orlandoblo_charb_10593359_600_4

Much like  “Marie Antoinette,” the most impressive aspects of the party were not the actors but the astonishing set, costumes and props.

The Chateau was transformed into a tiny Versailles with a ballroom, crystal chandeliers, Louis XIV chairs, period rugs, huge gilded mirrors and  bouquets of pink roses/ gardenias.

Perrier Jouet was flowing and a decadent dessert banquet was piled with white chocolate boxes containing tiny berries, pastel-colored French macaroons, meringue, tarts, pink and lavender cupcakes and petite cotton candy.

The only thing missing was a few white powdered wigs, which, come it think of it, would have looked better on Bloom than that wierd flat hat.

Atmosphere_charb_10593135_600_1This isn’t the first time the Chateau – which was actually inspired by a Loire Valley chateau -  has been cleared out and transformed.

“I remember we cleared the lobby out for our very first party,” recalled Marmont’s owner Andre Balazs. "It was for Sofia's 17th birthday party."

How tres, tres appropriate.

By the way, the mystery of where those pink Converse shoes came from has been solved.

Seems Io Bottoms, who plays a lady-in-waiting in "Marie," bought the pink Chucky's in Paris for Kirsten to wear during rehearsals and down time on the set.

"They cost about 80 Euros," she explained, "They were a gift for Kirsten."

Then Sofia's bro, Roman Coppola, slid the funky modern shoes into that shot of Marie Antoinette's fancy French period footwear.

So now you know.

Who had the better bash? Scarlett or Ben?

Atmosphere_charb_10241943_600There was a real Hollywood flashback this week with the premieres of “The Black Dahlia” and “Hollywoodland,” both held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills.

Both period movies deal with unsolved Hollywood deaths, the brutal murder of a wanna-be actress named Elizabeth Short and the strange suicide of TV’s “Superman” star George Reeves.

Briandepal_cohen_10221897_600

But there was no comparison between the films’ after-parties.

The rumblings at the low-key “Dahlia” post party in the main lobby of AMPAS ranged from polite congrats to Scarlett Johansson- wearing a Chanel frock and a Streisand do-  and her on-and-off-screen beau Josh Hartnett to one woman loudly announcing “I want that two hours of my life back!” and getting quite a few “Me too” responses. Director Brian DePalma didn’t bother to stay for the bash. And Hilary Swank, who was one of the film’s hilarious highlights, was also a no-show.

But the “Hollywoodland” bash at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel was a far more upbeat, lavish and star-studded affair. The party was poolside with lots of bouquets on tables inside cabanas, white coated waitiers, cigarette girls, a brightly lit “Hollywoodland sign,” displays of Chopard jewelry (including Reeves' watch seen in the film) and half a dozen vintage cars deposited stars in front of the hotel.

Mattdamona_charb_10242176_600Not only were all the film's stars in attendance - Bob Hoskins, Adrien Brody, Robin Tunney, Diane Lane and others - but Ben Affleck, who plays Reeves, brought his wife Jennifer Garner, his brother Casey, his pal Matt Damon with his wife, Luciana Barroso.

It was nice to see the best buds -  who burst on the Hollywood scene in ‘97 with “Good Will Hunting,” grabbed a Best Screenplay Oscar and made headlines by dating two hot actresses Gywneth Paltrow and Winona Ryder -  now look like mature, happily married family men. What a difference almost a decade makes.

It was clearly Ben’s big night. The actor was affable, charming and relaxed, the way he was pre-J-Lo, just hanging with his friends and family, chatting with well-wishers and even talking to reporters about the role that some partygoers were dubbing his “comeback.”

Benaffleck_charb_10240903_600 “It’s a great role and that was obvious to me from the start," Affleck admitted. “George is an icon, but a tragic figure, a kind guy and a sad guy. He represents one thing to the nostalgic consciousness of the American TV watching audience. And now they get a chance to see his perspective on the show and it's quite different from what you’d expect.”

But he was also relieved that he’d managed to dump the pounds he packed on to play Reeves. “At least I’ve finally lost all that weight. It would have been so embarrassing to show up at the premiere, five months after the film was shot and still be carrying all that around.”

Producer James Schamus could not be more pleased with Ben’s performance, which some insiders say could nab him a Best Actor or Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination.

“Getting Ben was the luckiest thing that has happened to us in a long time,” said Shamus. “This guy is a gem. And not only is he a fine actor who is also a movie star but he’s one of the most intelligent and the kindest guys in this business.”

“We’d heard that Ben was interested in the role and we just kept coming back to his name,” explained director Allen Coulter. “He was so right physically. He also has an aura about him and he’s very charming. There were a lot of names on the table but when I met Ben for breakfast, it was Game Over. I met him that morning and had lunch with Diane (Lane) and I called Focus and said,"They're who I want. There’s no point looking any further.”

The "Hollywoodland" premiere party, sponsored by Chopard and Volkswagon, also drew almost every Hollywood Old Timer who was still mobile: Mickey Rooney,  Eva Marie Saint, Jerry Mathers (“Leave it to Beaver”), Cyd Charisse, George Takei (“Star Trek”) Lesley Ann Warren, Loni Anderson, Peter Graves, Robert Culp, (“I Spy”) and Ann Rutherford as well as Ed Harris, Amy Madigan and comedian Kathy Griffin.

Even Jack Larson, the actor who played Jimmy Olsen with Reeves in the original “Superman” TV series was on hand.Dianelane_charb_10241644_600

And the old folks haven't lost their sense of humor. They roared when Shamus introduced the film that night by saying, "This is a film that I think celebrates our Hollywood heritage and values; debauchery, greed, paranoia, substance abuse and adultery, all the things that make us special.”

But the highlight of Coulter's night was hearing how much Larson/Jimmy Olsen loved the movie. The men discussed the Mannix mansion and the Reeves home. Coulter explained that the Reeves house was not the real one, but a similar house whose owners let the filmmakers reconfigure it to match the Reeves layout. Larson, who had been to George’s house many times, was impressed by the accuracy of houses, the acting, writing and what he called “the compassionate portrayal of George.”

“That’s a nice thing,” said Coulter, quietly, after Larson left.  “That means a lot. I mean, he was there. He knew George.”

Stars just love their Silver Spoon

Attention, celebrity shoppers! Green light specials at every Emmy Suite.

The Emmy Suites are cranking this week as nominees, presenters, pre and post-party peeps, even stars staying home to watch the show, show up at a baker's dozen suites set up for the sole purpose of pampering (mani-pedis, massages, facials, hair-cuts and blow drys) the stars and gifting them with cool free clothing, accessories, beauty products, even fabulous trips.

So will there be any letters given out explaining tax implications to celebs arriving at Emmy Suites, the way it was done at the Teen Choice Awards Celebrity Retreat on Sunday?

Not at the Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet, says founder Lorena Bendinskas. For one thing, not everyone comes for swag. “Some stars will simply have lunch," she explains. "Others may have a massage or a manicure and some will shop. But it’s more of a party than a gifting suite. There is no official gift bag. So it's totally up to the individual.”

Parishilto_jun_s_10023785_600The aptly named Silver Spoon, one of the biggest and most popular suites, is always held in a top-secret private Hollywood estate. And this year, "The Simple Life" star Paris Hilton, now officially a singer (!)  and on the pampering party/freebie fest/charity benefit invite list, may run right into "American Idol" meanie Simon Cowell, also on the invitee list.

She's gonna have to hotfoot it back from Japan where she's promoting her album to make it to Silver Spoon. But if she does, will the tireless self-promoter give Simon a copy of her new CD?  I wouldn’t risk it, Paris. He can draw blood.

And frankly,  I’d steer clear of Joan and Melissa Rivers, also slated to attend, unless you’re feeling up to fierce fashion snipes about that Heidi Ho costume you wore in Toyko earlier this week.

This year the SSHB benefits Tom’s Foundation, which provides much needed medical care, school supplies and shoes to children around the world. With just a $35 donation, stars can make sure that children in poor villages in Argentina will receive a new pair of shoes.

Okay, $35 won't buy the tykes Uggs or Jimmy Choos. But apparently in poor countries, shoes are more than a fashion statement. Footwear actually prevents many horrible diseases contracted through bare feet. Wow. Who knew? Would weekly pedicures help too?

The pampering party may also draw invited TV stars like "NoTORIous" Tori Spelling, who is probably still reeling over getting her inheritance ripped off by Mommy Dearest after her dad Aaron kicked the bucket. Now she like really Allisonjan_cohen_1527181_600needs free stuff!

Also on the list David Spade and Jesse Metcalfe; who has about 3 seconds more fame time left after his movie “John Tucker Must Die” died at the box office.

Also sure to stop by: Jerry Ferrara, Constance Zimmer and Kevin Dillon (“Entourage”), Lisa Rinna and Rachel Hunter (“Dancing With the Stars”), Eric Balfour (“Conviction”), Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag (“The Hills”), Ryan Cabrera (Ashley Simpson’s former kinda beau), Terry Crews (“Everybody Hates Chris”), Mya and almost last but definitely not least,  the perpetual party girl Tara Reid (“Taradise”).

Fur will fly at Emmy parties

Paris_and_juneThe Emmy Awards party scene will be missing a VIP - Very Important Puppy - a trend-setting teacup Yorkie named Junebug.

Last Awards season Junebug was seen kissing Paris Hilton at the Gay Idols of Hollywood bash and being petted by “Scrubs” star Zach Braff at the InStyle Golden Globes bash.

She appeared on CNN, the TV Guide Channel and E!, and planned to make her first red carpet appearance with Joan and Melissa Rivers at the upcoming Emmys.

Sadly, Junebug, just one year old, died recently during what should have been a routine spay procedure by a vet reputed to be a small dog expert.

“She was on her way to becoming the next Benji,” says her owner, Jake Dynnis, Hollywood’s canine couturier, who designs Jackrocketwear, an exclusive line of upscale made-to-measure cashmere sweaters, gowns, tuxedos, crystal-studded T’s, as well as doggie spa products and cookies.

Devastated by Junebug's sudden death, Dynnis tried to bury herself in work. But she'd also lost her best fit model. Most of the hand-made clothes were for Junebug. Even Dynnis' new pet bed – the Junebuggle Bed – was ready to be shown to the pet world. Her dog line has appeared in People, In Touch and InStyle and her doggie spa products were included in the 2006 Golden Globes gift basket. And her celeb clients - Natalie Portman, Mariah Carey, Adrien Brody, Lindsay Lohan, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Sharon Osbourne, Jessica Simpson, Nic Cage, Tori Spelling and natch, Paris Hilton - were clamouring for new duds.

CocobedwebDespite her grief, Dynnis got back to business and searched the Yorkie Universe to find a new Yorkie girl named Coco.

Junebug’s breeder, Renotta Oliver, says her website has been flooded with requests for her pocket-sized pups after news of Junebug’s glamorous life and untimely death spread.

Oliver plans to fly to LA and attend a few Emmy parties with Dynnis and Coco. So if you see a new foxy furball - Coco - looking fierce in her Jackrocketwear designer duds, just wave and say "Grrrrr."

Lindsay wins Zit War, sets Emmy party fashion trend

Lindsayloh_bkin_9712745_600Even though Lindsay Lohan was recently scolded by a studio head for staying out late, partying like a rock star and being rushed to a hospital (again) for dehydration, she still manages to look fantastic.

How does she do it?

First off, she’s young. At that tender age, everyone bounces back fast, even after a week of late nights.

Plus she has major hair peeps, makeup artists and stylists who keep her looking good, even on two hours sleep. Heck, she can probably get in some shut-eye sitting in the chair while they work their hair/makeup magic.

Natch, rumors are that her "glow" of late is due to her new love interest, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino heir, Harry Morton.

Now Harry's cute and all. But the truth is, it's the zit cream.

Seems the once-troubled skin star is now endorsing the anti-acne line called Proactiv Solution, a line she claims to use faithfully. And she's even on the pimple-fighting line’s new national TV advertisement.

But it's not as low rent as it sounds. Past Proactiv endorsers include Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson and Diddy. Yes, that Diddy.

“My skin, thanks to Proactiv, is clear all the time,” chirps Lohan on the infomercial. “Proactiv heals acne, but the best thing is that it’s super gentle, so it works every day like skin care. That’s how I use it, and it works.”

Keep using whatever detox stuff works, Linds. Cause you're gonna need spotless skin for the upcoming Emmy party scene.

If Lindsay's Emmy party line-up is as crowded as her last Oscar bash sked, she'll be one busy fashionista. On Oscar night, Lindsay wore a different frock to three Oscar post-parties, setting a new Awards Season quick-change record.

Will Lindsay's Oscar fashion show spark a new trend? Will we see other young actresses pulling a Lohan and wearing a different dress - perhaps a Chanel (not vintage, thanks), an Armani, some YSL, a piece of Prada and a decadent Dior - to the TV Guide, EW, ET/People and HBO Emmy after-parties?

It's highly possible. One Hollywood style insider mused, "That's a lot of frocks for just one night. But who knows? It sounds totally insane but when you think about it, its a great way for these girls to satisfy several designers and not offend anyone."

And if those nasty "pay to play" rumors are true (actresses being financially compensated for wearing designer dresses to awards shows and parties), it's also a great way to make a few extra grand so you don't have to stoop to doing zit cream infomercials.

Photo Credits: Is Harry Morton the cause of Lindsay's glow? Or is it her Proactiv pimple cream?  We may never know. But her skin is on high beam at the Saturn Vue X-games party on August 2

Stars get waisted at Prada party

Lindsayloh_caulf_9464455_600With the Emmy awards and Emmy parties on the horizon, it’s no surprise so many stars turned out for Miuccia Prada’s “Waist Down” exhibit of her artistic skirts at her Beverly Hills boutique.

Ben Kingsley, Dustin Hoffman, and Joaquin Phoenix  gave a heavy-weight acting awards feel to the super-chic skirt-loving crowd that included Angie Harmon, Heather Graham, Molly Sims, Eva Mendes, Michelle Trachtenberg, Patricia Arquette, Michelle Rodriquez, Paris and Nicky Hilton along with skinny-mini Mary Kate Olsen, looking tres goth, smothered up in black with ruby red lips.

Also at the party: Hilton's main social antagonists Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie. Perhaps their angry rifts are cooling due to some kind of Hollywood nuclear weapons disarmament treaty. Or maybe it was the free frocks.

Richie arrived before Lohan and was seen briefly eyeing the huge seafood buffet before deciding against sustenance and heading upstairs to the VIP area with melted green plastic walls that looked like they were stolen from the set of “Aliens.”
Mollysimsa_caulf_9464224_600
But even though she resisted a jumbo shrimp, Richie is not, I repeat, not anorexic. She probably wasn't hungry because she'd just eaten dinner the night before.

Other stars simply couldn't resist the  sea-faring temptation. Surprise-surprise, Courtney Love made a lengthy pit stop at the seafood bar to refuel with handfuls of jumbo shrimp, lobster claws and giant crab legs. TV fashion pundit Steven Cojocaru was also eating high on the hog and looking eerily more like his idol Joan Rivers every minute.

Longtime Prada lover Lyle Lovett came with a young girl who looked she could be his daughter but was probably his fiancé, April Kimble. “I love Prada, especially the techno pants. I wear them on stage when I perform,” he revealed.

Former supermodel-still-turning-actress Amber Valletta gleamed in a gold Prada lace top and gold satin short-shorts. "I think her hot pants-wearing days are done," whispered one onlooker.

The big question of the night was: will we see mucho Miuccia Prada at the Emmys?

“I really don’t know,” answered Prada prone supe- stylist Rachel Zoe, who arrived at the same time as some of her Prada-clad clones, er girls, including Joy Bryant, Richie and Lohan.

“Miuccia is very specific about who she dresses so we’ll just have to see. But it would be very fun!”Courtneylo_charb_9463831_600

The Rem Koolhaus-designed boutique is a perfect party pad with skyhigh ceilings, low white sofas, and a wide sweeping staircase up to the second floor where you can peek down and check out which guy is a potential Hair Club for Men client.

The Prada skirts exhibited - full skirts splattered on walls and spinning suspended from the ceiling - sure made for fun festive décor. Not to mention all the plasma screens showing past fashion shows. By night's end, none of the small Prada skirt souvenir pins scattered around the store were left. Guests, stars and even stylists were lining their Prada purses with handfuls of the party souvenirs.

One source thought that there just might be an Emmy party in the works for the special store.  But another insider made mock of that idea, “Miuccia would not allow a party to be held here that she was not totally in charge of.”

So we’ll just have to see. But, like Zoe said, It would be very fun. And the marvelous "Waist Down" exhibit will be on display until, fittingly, August 27, the night of the Emmys.

Photo Credits: Angie Harmon fixes Lindsay Lohan's hair when she arrives late at the Prada party. What are friends for? Limos can be so  hard on the hairdo.

Photo Credits: Molly Simms and Eva Mendes get cozy for the cameras in fabulous free Prada dresses.

Photo Credits: Rebecca Romjin and Courtney Love share  - hopefully - some diet tips. Bottom's up, girls. Let's also hope that's just sparkling water in Love's champagne flute.

Hey, Katie! Brooke's already back in shape

Brookeshie_sarde_9050771_600New mom Brooke Shields recently showed up - with her husband Chris Henchy - at the Georg Jensen bash at the Chateau Marmont.

And she looked surprisingly trim in a snug leopard print frock, espcially considering it's only been two months since she gave birth to her second daughter.

Ironically, she popped the very same day (April 18) as Katie Holmes, who's been kinda been hiding under a rock of late. And I'm not gonna touch the 'Where's Suri' controversy again.

Hey, maybe Brook can give Katie some post-partum diet n' fitness tips. I'm sure Tom Cruise wouldn't mind. Ya think?

Jensen - a Scandinavian luxury company best known for heritage silverware - has opened a store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Hence the bash, where some of Jensen’s sleek new jewelry and watch designs ($300-$350,000) were on prominent display in a poolside bungalow.

The event, which benefitted P.S. Arts, which supports arts eduction in schools, drew a pretty decent crowd including Aaron Sorkin's wife Julia Sorkin, Joely Fisher, Tatiana Von Furstenberg, Dita Von Teese, Rebecca De Mornay, LA designer Madga Berliner and her photog hubby Alec Berliner, Donovan Leitch, his model wife Kirsty Hume and Italian designer Margherita Missoni.

Even super stylist Rachel Zoe showed up in her finest vintage Halston. ”I love what P.S. Arts is doing,” Zoe explained. "They do amazing work so anytime they ask me to do anything, I’m happy to help. I work in such a superficial world that it’s nice to something that really matters.”

But Jensen execs wanted guests to check out their fabulously superficial jewelry. Larry Barkley of Jensen explained, “We wanted to bring Georg Jensen to the attention of hip Hollywood.”

With a champagne-flooded Chateau Marmont pool party? Hey, mission accomplished. And here's an inside tip: watch for Jensen's jewelry on the carpets next awards season. Some of those necklaces would look ab fab with a vintage Halston or Yves Saint Laurent gown, right Rachel?

Photo Credits: Hey, Katie, check it out. Brooke Shields is already back to fine form. Go ahead, give her a call and get some post-partum diet tips. Don't tell Tom.

Young Hollywood turns out for T-Mobile

Jessicasim_degui_9120805_600

Well, now we know.

Here's why Eva Longoria, from the award-winning show "Desperate Housewives," was in such a mad rush to get her hair done Tuesday evening at Jordan's Enchanted Cottage in West Hollywood.

She was headed straight to the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 party held later that night at the Hollywood Palladium.

Carloslope_weeks_9124011_600

The place was packed with the usual celeb suspects such as the Backstreet Boys, LA club empresario Brent Bolthouse, Donovan Leitch, Serena Williams, Jaime King, Rachel Bilson, "Crash" director Paul Haggis, Taryn Manning, Amanda Bynes, Haylie and Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson, Mischa Barton with beau Cisco Adler, whew, and those still  battling ex-BFs Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton.

And in case you were wondering, yes, all the attending celebs got a free Sidekick 3 for their time and trouble.

Richie was spotted inside flailing her pipe cleaner arms while dancing with Mario Lopez. With her new long blonde hair extensions, she really does look like a Paris Hilton clone. But she's getting so darn emaciated that we're gonna start calling her Auschwitz Hilton.

Meanwhile, Paris has cleverly figured out a way to really stand out at parties. Bring brunette friends! She spent most of the night posing and partying with her new bookend brunette sidekicks, Caroline D'Amore and Kim Kardashian.
