He's back! Owen joins his "Darjeeling" brothers
Owen Wilson is feeling much better, thank you. But he's not ready to talk about it.
Wilson, looking tanned and rested, snuck into the Samuel Goldwyn theatre by a back entrance last night for the premiere of "The Darjeeling Limited," avoiding the press waiting on the red carpet in hopes that he would show up.
His co-stars Jason Schwartzman and Adrien Brody (wearing a silver lame Dolce Gabbana suit) both told red carpet reporters that Owen was doing well and feeling better. Later, inside the theatre, director Wes Anderson got up to introduced his cast who got up onstage with him. Of his "best friend' Owen, he said, "I've never made a movie without him and I hope I never have to."
Awww. With "Darjeeling" being about three estranged brothers who bond on a spiritual journey by train through India, it's fitting that Wilson's pals protected his privacy and didn't let on that he was going to appear in the theatre. But Wilson didn't stay for the film and left right after the introduction.
His pre-film departure didn't do much to squelch one red carpet rumor: "I heard that seeing the final cut of "Darjeeling" is what pushed Owen over the edge," a seasoned film critic told me.
Ouch. That's just so mean!

Please give Owen Wilson a break. He's a man like any other except.....
his personal struggles and sadness are splattered all over by the media.
The media should be ashamed. They are such hurtful bunch of creeps.
Owen Wilson's private life is none of our business. Leave him alone.
