That was Britney's comeback? Because you can never get enough of a really bad, bad thing, here are a few more shots of Britney's pathetic "performance" at the Video Music Awards last night in Vegas.

So you thought it was painful sitting at home last night watching Britney on TV. Sitting in the audience, poor Diddy and 50 Cent looked positively stunned when cameras landed on their faces during Brit's stupefyingly bad act. But I really pity those backup dancers. They had to look aroused and excited by what was stumbling, jiggling, shimmying and strutting around them. "Hey, y'all want some fries with this shake? Hee hee."

And they had to physically hoist the beast. OK, everybody, she's coming down! Stay focused! Teamwork! We've practiced and we CAN do this! All together now, ENNUUUUGGGNNNNNHHHH!

The strangest part about Britney's Vegas appearance?  With all the time she's spent cavorting with strippers and exotic lap dancers in the past year, she couldn't pick up some smoother moves? Seriously? Maybe she thought the VMA performance was just another night in Vegas doing some late night partyin' with her pole-dancing pals.
