Where's Naomi this season?
Here's a preview of Naomi Watt's Golden Globe presenter face which will be done by Dior's make-up artist Pati Dubroff. Naomi arrived with boyfriend Liev Schrieber at the Penfold's Gala last night to get a well-deserved award. And it's about darn time. Excuse me for being annoyed about her not getting nominated for a Globe this year. Last year she was overlooked for her amazing role in "King Kong." This year her heart-breaking performance in "The Painted Veil," a period love story based on the Somerset Maugham novel and definitely up there with Anthony Minghella's "English Patient," was ignored. Can someone please explain this? She's one of the most talented actresses working today. Remember "21 Grams?" Can't somebody get this girl a decent awards campaign?

Naomi is probably the most underreated, underappreciated and overlooked actor of her generation. Mulholland Drive, King Kong and now The Painted Veil (I think her best work, so far), should have been nominated for many awards. Whoever is in charge of promoting her should be ashamed.

I definitely agree that Naomi is seriously undervalued, especially by the HFPA.
She was earth-shaking in 'Mulholland Drive'; she should have won an Oscar for it.
