Dame Mirren graces SBIFF

Dame Helen Mirren will be lauded at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival with a tribute and an award for Outstanding Performance of the Year on Friday, Jan. 26, for her portrayal of Her Royal Highness in Stephen Frears’ “The Queen.” 

And she‘s keeping fine company. Past SBIFF recipients of this honor include Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron and Heath Ledger.
