Suspicions over Scientologist Suri Sightings

Jadapinket_caulf_9502261_600

Even with all the Emmy awards buzz, Hollywood insiders are still asking, "Where's little Suri?"

There are still no photos, not even a cartoon likeness, of the TomKat spawn.

And TMZ has reported some strange things about Suri Cruise’s birth certificate. Like the late filing date (8 days after her April 18 birth) and the unusual signatures (an illegible signature of a “friend”) and the missing parental signatures. Hmmmm.

Now suddenly, we have, not one, but two breathless Suri reports from Leah Remini and Jada Pinkett Smith, both babbling about the baby to People magazine.

Call me suspicious, but does anyone else think it's odd that both of these gals are also Scientologists?

First, church member Remini raves about seeing the MIA baby to People. She says she even got to pick up the TomKitten. Gosh, she must be one of the chosen "clear" ones.

Tomcruisea_brech_9485517_600Now Pinkett Smith, Cruise’s “Collateral” co-star and new fan of Hubbard's teachings, is also spouting off to People about having seen the missing Scientology link.

Who will be next to Suri spot? Scrolling down the church’s role call list, here are some distinct possibilities: John Travolta and Kelly Preston, Jenna Elfman, Jason Lee, Isaac Hayes, Kirstie Alley and/or Lisa Marie Presley.

But here's someone it probably won't be: Steven Spielberg, who is most definitely not a Scientologist.

Plus I hear he's still pretty PO-ed at Tom for having sicced the Scientologists dogs on a friend of his, a doctor who has had success treating kids with Ritalin.

But be warned, Camp Cruise. People magazine - and people in general - aren't as dumb as they look.

And if the next FOTC (Friend of Tom Cruise) to report seeing Suri just happens to be another Xenu Freak, folks are gonna get suspicious.

Make that more suspicious.

But the director, reportedly still miffed about Cruise siccing Scientology picketers on a doctor pal, keeps the actor at arm's length.

Scientology is a cult. It is a shame that good people are sucked in.

Does anyone really care about Tom and his girlfriend and baby...If they want to hide let them...

"What is stupid is that the LA Times doesn't run more stories about how stupid and hypocritical Scientology is. It's a pathetic organization, "

I thought for a while you were talking about Christianity, Catholicsm, Judaism or the Moslem religion

Why is it that there are people who are so critical of something unknown to them. I think its what you call low IQ.

Get a life all of you critical pervs. Why is it so important to you to bring down a baby girl? Have you all lost your mind?

justin

I have heard that Mr. Cruise is impotent and possibly sterile. Nicole's baby, which Cruise did not father, was not lost in miscarriage, it was aborted--at Cruise's arrogant insistence. Then he divorced her. Suri is surely another titanic-style publicity stunt on the part of Cruise, but this one may take him down with the ship. This man needs a major reality check.

DENNIS LIVINGSTON

In 1980 down under in Australia here, alledgedly a dingo ate a baby.

Do you have dingoes in the States?

NYC transplant

I have heard from a reliable source that the reason no one has seen the baby is that it is not Tom Cruise; however, the only reason that only Scientologists have seen the child is that the baby'c father is L. Ron Hubbard himself. The Scientologists defrosted the frozen sperm of their leader and had it implanted inside of Kate Holmes. I know that this sounds impossible, but sometimes the truth is stranger than the fiction.

Lara

The whole Suri controversy is ridiculous. She's a little baby. Maybe they decided to give her some privacy for her own safety.

BTW: Does anyone know how "successful" a "scam" Scientology really is? Who is profiting? By how much? Lots of churches take lots of offerings and tithes from their adherents. The Mormon church, for example, has all kinds of wacky beliefs, collects 10% of its members' GROSS incomes, and does little in charity work (except for helping its own members.) No one calls that church a "scam" (although it has been called a cult.)I'd love to read about who in Scientology is getting rich.

Come to think of it: Who cares who profits from Scientology and by how much? If its members are happier in it than out of it, who's to judge?

Has anyone seen Suri Cruise? The question should be Does anyone care to see Suri Cruise?
This is beginning to border on the pathetic. Why doesn't TC get on his 8 cylinder motorcycle and ride away forever.

Ted

I am amazed that anyone even cares about this "missing" Suri Cruise. It is nothing more than a carefully PR designed ploy to keep the TomKat camp in the publics eye. After the Brad and Angelina baby got all the attention and money TC decided to switch gears and I guess came up with this ploy. The world is full of stories of hope, love, dispair, war, and the list goes on and on, but people keep focusing on this. I think that says a lot about the shape this country is in today.

Xenu

What is stupid is that the LA Times doesn't run more stories about how stupid and hypocritical Scientology is. It's a pathetic organization, a group that decries and denies psychology and psychiatry in all forms, yet the very core of Scientology is the most malevolent application of basic psychological manipulation, from group psychology to isopation to preying on insecurities and rationalization. It's no religion, its the most successful scam in modern history.

mf

sounds like a large stretch to me. but at the same time there is a notion that tom crusise and scientology team members, recruits, vigilants, wtinesses are all part of an eloborate notion of "wrting", fucking love the quotes, a religious text....

Katherine Collins

So what is the suspicion? That the baby doesn't exist? It has three heads? That Katie Holmes ate it? Speaking of whom, has anyone seen her recently? Does she exist? Did Tom Cruise kill her and eat her? This is all pretty serious stuff.

Larry

Beyond the theater of the absurd that is Tom Cruise and Hetro-Shield Katie Holmes, does anyone else find this a bit sad? Sad that a movie star might go as far as to create a fake baby to reassure the public of his masculinity? Sad that there may in fact be a baby who may not be perfect enough to be displayed to the public be her perfect father? Sad that a lot of successful people are tossing away their lives into a Ponzi Scheme / UFO Cult and to cover Tom Cruise's rear?

And sad that we, as the Viewing Public, are obsessed with this nonsense in the first place? Scientology is a crock, Tom Cruise is weird, and Suri may be a pillow or hideously deformed. So what?

Its distraction.

People are dying in Lebanon, the world stands at the brink of all out destruction, the eco system is falling to pieces, and the United States is slowly being warped into a Consumer Fascist State ruled by Credit Card Companies and Oil Barons...And we are worried about Suri Cruise?

Priorities anyone?

harvey

It is not an absurd query, this. A similar thing happened with the death of L.Ron Hubbard, whose death cert was was signed by Scientologists, days after the alleged death, and the body was never evidenced, although ashes were. It hardly matters, considering the state of the planet these days, but doubting Cruise's desire or ability to impregnate anyone is certainly valid.

David Ehrenstein

Xenu thanks you Mr. Tahler.

Now how about a plate of Clams Casino?

Tahler

This is a ridiculous piece of media. I mean, come on...this is the L.A. Times posting link to a website called "Scientology kills"? Plleeese!
